Heritage & History

  • The Origin (1920): The story began in Florence when grandfather Guido Galardi started gathering wild lavender from the Florentine hills. He opened a tiny workshop to create essential oils, scented solutions, and perfumed sachets.

  • Global Acclaim: In 2012, BOIS 1920 reached a major milestone when it was selected among the top five olfactory expressions at the prestigious FiFi Awards in New York.

BOIS 1920 has a massive catalog of unique creations. Each bottle is a work of art, often hand-created by local Tuscan artisans using actual gold leaf detailing. 

  • Classic 1920: A citrusy, creamy, and spicy everyday signature scent that balances tobacco, sandalwood, and sweet apricot.

  • Oro Nero: A dark, mysterious, and dry blend featuring spicy leather, saffron, and amber wood.
